listening to some tipico by DJ Cinco while sipping on some wine on a Friday night…not complaining cause I’m just straight chillin…hope everyone’s having a good Friday night

Here’s my birthday weekend summary lmfao:

Friday: went bowling with friends and my cousin, had a blast (like usual) and wasn’t on my usual playing mode but enjoyed myself which was the point of the outing. Afterwards eventually ended up in this “restaurant” if we can call it that (we all thought it was a halfway house to whores lmfao). Now, I know I don’t look my age for nothing (not being conceited but it’s the truth). So there I am, the oldest 1 from the group, 2nd one in line and I AM THE ONLY ONE that gets carded to go inside this place. I made sure I looked by the window to see if everyone else got carded and nope I was the only one. We all started laughing cause the oldest one from the group got carded lmfao.

Saturday: was supposed to go to Chilli’s with friends but a family issue came up so I had to cancel, just kicked it in the house watching tv (which I didn’t mind cause I’m a tv junkie with all these random shows).

Sunday: bunch of texts/calls/fb posts. Went to have lunch with the bestie and ran into our friend from college. Came home with the ill itis and the weather wasn’t helping but Harry Potter was on so that was priority lmfao. My sis, bro-in-law, nice and nephews came over. As I shared with my mother a bottle of Moscato, I seen “Rent” (the movie) which I had not seen in forever and it made me remember when I went to see the play with my sister. I’ve always been amazed how a bunch of thespians can out a play together and make it feel so real and alive. With that said, next year I will be checking out “Wicked” and then “Addams Family Musical.”

To sum it all up, it was a low key birthday but I could not have been more happier. God has blessed me with amazing family members and friends, even my “virtual friends” (if we can call it that) cause even though we don’t know each other personally, they too took the time to wish me happy birthday.

Believe it or not, a complete stranger can make your day, don’t you ever forget that. The smallest gesture can change your complete day. I’m more of the optimistic side then a pessimistic person, so I always see the good in people

Maddddd hyped!!!!! Going to Orlando for the weekend with my *cough* new friend…Gonna meet up with some of my friends from my unit cause we’re celebrating 1 of their bday this weekend…AND after 12 years I get to have a mini-reunion with 1 of my friends from basic training…Last I seen my battle was when we graduated basic/AIT on Jan. 21st 2000.

Yea as you can see I value my friendships a whole lot even though others don’t truly mean the meaning of friendships.
